Apparently, Africa is a source of very indigenous jewelry cultures and a Tanzanite ring is made from a mineral discovered in an Eastern Africa country called Tanzania in 1967. Tanzanite, is thus celebrated worldwide for its ability to materialize in distinct colors and at times it may resemble amethyst or sapphire gems and red flares also add to the blue or purple tints based on its cut and light sheen. Tanzania remains the unique producer of this mineral and Tiffany and Co. found it amazing and derived the label Tanzanite and this is the way it is known in the jewelry markets.
